Corporal Punishment

Many studies have shown that physical punishment — including spanking, hitting, and other means of causing pain — can lead to increased aggression, antisocial behaviour, physical injury, and mental health problems for children. Handling and controlling children is not a simple task. The role of teachers is to handle children in a positive way and patiently, the way to lead is to find innovative ways to positively guide children in the right direction.

ANON’s corporal punishment program trains individuals on strategies through which teachers can handle their emotions and control themselves into committing something which might impact the child negatively. In this program we make the individuals aware that corporal punishment is not only about physical punishments, but also about mentally harassing the child like passing sarcastic remarks, shaming, discriminating etc. Through this program, ANON tries to instil in them the ways through which they can make teaching fun yet disciplined.
